I totally expected this to be terrible. It's actually pretty funny. Especially for a first game, nice work.

...It's super dumb, but I feel like a learned a ton from it.

Not bad for 20 minutes...but not good either. Sorry.

It's a cool little concept, but lacks a lot in execution. The hitboxes of the letters to avoid are too big, so I lost quite a few times when I really wouldn't have collided with them.

A checkpoint system would have been nice, too, instead of restarting the whole game when you lose. On that same note, making the intro jingle to each level skippable would have been really helpful. No matter how great a piece of music is, it's just obnoxious after the tenth time.

Not bad! I particularly liked the inventive methods for revealing the combination lock codes.

Something I was confused by was the amount of places you could look for items that never had anything in them. I actually played through twice to see if item placement was randomized, but since it isn't some of the locations seemed strange.

Some sound would go a long way towards making this game great. I felt like it was missing some subtle music in the background and sound effects when items are used and picked up.

I make flash games for game jams and prototyping. Most of my stuff is kind of quick-and-dirty.
